Cognitio College's Secret Society?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next semester. Heard whispers about a secret society – apparently, it's super exclusive, and they have these crazy initiation rites involving...well, let's just… more

Honestly? Sounds like a load of college kids trying to be edgy. Probably more late-night ramen runs and bad poetry than actual ancient curses. Unless it's some really committed LARPers, I wouldn't sweat the "ancient Hong Kong curse" bit. My advice? Go for it. Worst case scenario, you get some funny stories. Best case? You'll have some cool stories and maybe make some friends. Don't expect anything truly occult, though.

Yeah, you're probably right. It does sound a bit… much. Ancient Hong Kong curse? Come on. Still, the whole "secret society" thing is intriguing. Part of me wants to see if there's anything to it, even if it's just a bunch of drama kids. Funny stories are a good point, though. Maybe I'll just treat it like a weird college scavenger hunt. Worst that happens is I waste an evening.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
