Download the PolyU campus map app! Seriously, it's a lifesaver. The buildings are numbered, so once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine. Also, give yourself extra time – like, way extra time. Hong Kong is famously efficient, but PolyU's layout… less so. Walking between buildings takes longer than you think. And don't be afraid to ask for directions; most people are helpful.
