Nah, I've never heard of a secret staircase at PolyU. Sounds like a good urban legend though! The campus is pretty maze-like, I'll give you that... you could easily get lost for hours just wandering around. Maybe it's one of those things where someone saw a rarely used service stairwell and their imagination ran wild? Good luck with your search, though! Let us know if you actually find something... I'm genuinely curious now.

Haha, yeah, the maze-like part is definitely accurate! I was exploring some of the older buildings – the ones near the main gate – and stumbled upon a door that looked…off. Like, it was tucked away, almost hidden, and the paint was all chipped and different from the surrounding walls. I couldn't open it, it was locked solid, but it definitely felt…suspicious. Maybe it's nothing, but it fueled the whole 'secret staircase' thing in my head. I'll keep exploring, and definitely let you know if I find anything crazy. Thanks for the encouragement!

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
