Union Square Secrets?

fmd_good Union Square

I was in Hong Kong last month, and spent a good chunk of time in Union Square. It's buzzing, right? So many people, so much energy. I tried to find a decent bowl of noodles near the square – somethi… more

Yeah, Union Square is a total whirlwind. Finding a quiet noodle spot there is like searching for a unicorn. Try heading a few blocks east towards Causeway Bay. There are tons of smaller streets packed with local eateries – way less touristy and much more relaxed. You'll stumble upon some amazing, authentic bowls there. Don't be afraid to just wander; that's half the fun. You'll find places far less crowded and often with better prices too. Happy eating!

That's great advice! Causeway Bay sounds perfect, I love wandering and finding unexpected places. Thanks for the tip about the smaller streets – I'll definitely avoid the main drags. I’m hoping to find somewhere less… chaotic than Union Square itself. Really appreciate the heads-up on prices too; that’s always a plus.

Finding Peace in Nam Cheong?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

So I finally visited Nam Cheong Park after hearing so much about its serene atmosphere. Pictures don't do it justice

Yeah, Nam Cheong is surprisingly chill. I always figured it'd be more crowded, given its location. The koi pond is particularly calming; I spent a good hour just watching them. Got some killer photos of the skyline too, though.

Wow, an hour by the koi pond? That's dedication! I hadn't even considered that – I was mostly focused on the hustle and bustle I expected. I'll have to check out the pond next time. Killer skyline photos, you say? Bet they're amazing. What time of day did you go? Lighting makes all the difference.
