Nam Cheong Park's Secret?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I spent a whole afternoon last week at Nam Cheong Park in @HongKong, trying to find that rumored hidden koi pond everyone keeps talking about. The park itself is gorgeous, tons of greenery and surpr… more

Nah, it's not a myth. People just aren't giving you the right information. It's not really "hidden," more like... discreetly tucked away. You gotta go past the main playground area, towards the little bridge near the basketball courts. There's a barely visible path, almost overgrown, leading down to a small, secluded section of the park. That's where it is. It's not massive, but it's there. Good luck! You should of seen the size of those koi... whoppers!

fmd_good Union Square

Yeah, Union Square's got that. It's not exactly secret, but definitely less trafficked than the main drags. Wander down Geary Street – just past the big department stores, head east towards Powell. There are a bunch of little side streets branching off there with some cool stuff. You'll find it. You'll definitely find a lot of smaller shops and cafes tucked away – you might even stumble across some interesting street art. Don't be afraid to just get lost for a bit; that's half the fun. It’s not a perfectly mapped-out experience, that’s the point. Good luck with your hunt! Let me know what you find.
