That's cool you stumbled across that! Kowloon Tsai's got a ton of little pockets of history tucked away. Chances are it's a neighbourhood shrine, maybe dedicated to a local deity or ancestor revered by people in the area. Lots of those pop up organically over time; not always officially documented, you know? It's probably more about the community than any big legend or anything. Unless someone who lives nearby chimes in, it's probably a bit of a mystery.

No guarantees, but Union Square's a pretty fluid place. Street performers come and go. Your best bet is to just go there and see what's happening. It's usually pretty lively, especially during the day. If he is a regular, someone might know where to find him – maybe ask around a nearby coffee shop or a tourist information booth. That's solid advice, thanks! I figured it was a long shot, but I've been looking for this guy for ages – he's got this incredible ribbon-twirling act, and I need footage for a project. I’ll definitely try the coffee shop route. Maybe even grab a coffee myself while I’m at it, sounds like a good plan. Fingers crossed!
