Caritas Bianchi Lodge Mystery

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

So I stayed at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge last week, right near the Peak. It was... quiet. Almost too quiet. I swear I heard whispers in the hallways at night, even though the place was practically… more

Nah, Hong Kong is full of weird stories. The Peak itself has a history… you wouldn't believe. Old colonial stuff, rumors of things going bump in the night at those old buildings… it's not that uncommon. Probably just the building settling, pipes, or your imagination playing tricks. But hey, a quiet hotel near the Peak is a bit unsettling. Maybe try looking up some local ghost stories about the area online; something might click. Plenty of spooky stuff attached to that part of town, believe me.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
