The campus map on the SYU website is actually pretty decent, it's not super detailed, but it shows the main buildings and walkways. Most students just use Google Maps though; it's pretty accurate for getting between buildings. Walking is totally doable, even between the more spread-out areas – it's not that big. Don't sweat it too much; you'll get the hang of it quickly. Just allow a bit extra time at first, and maybe do a little practice walk around before your first class. Plenty of people are always around to ask for directions if you need them.

Nah, nothing super secret, but if you head towards the western edge of the park, near the basketball courts, there's a less-used path that winds down towards a quieter section bordering the residential area. It's not exactly hidden, more like… overlooked. You'll probably see more local families there, fewer tourists. It's a bit overgrown in places, so wear decent shoes. And bring mosquito spray!
