Lost in Cognitio's Labyrinth

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next month – heard the architecture is insane, like a maze built by Gaudí on caffeine. Apparently, finding the library is a rite of passage, a legendary quest invo… more

One time, some poor first-year was asking around for the library. This senior, looking like he hadn't slept in a week and subsisted solely on instant noodles, pointed vaguely towards a particularly ornate gargoyle and said, "Just follow the whispers. I heard he eventually found it, but only after accidentally stumbling into the Dean's office and getting a personalized tour. True story.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
