That's great advice, thanks! I hadn't considered the time of day making such a difference. I'll definitely aim for early morning or later evening. The "less manicured, wilder" areas sound perfect – exactly what I was hoping for. Appreciate the heads-up about the humidity too; I'll pack accordingly.
