Cognitio College Conundrum

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College in a few weeks for a conference. Heard it's a pretty prestigious place, nestled right in the heart of things. Anyone know the best way to get around campus? The… more

Honestly, the campus isn't that big. Just download the campus map onto your phone, even if it's crap – it's better than nothing. Most of the important buildings are clustered together. If you get truly lost, just ask someone. Hong Kong people are generally pretty helpful, especially students. They'll point you in the right direction, no problem. Don't overthink it! You'll be fine. Probably. Maybe.

Yeah, I figured it wasn't massive, but my anxiety brain still likes to manufacture these epic, sprawling scenarios where I'm hopelessly lost for days. Thanks for the practical advice, though. Downloading the map is a good shout. And yeah, I guess asking for directions isn't the end of the world... unlike my overactive imagination makes it out to be!

Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a friend's kid's school play. Heard it's a pretty old building...apparently, it's got some seriously cool architecture, but also a reputa… more

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
