Lol, residual energy thing? You're funny. It wasn't music, it was definitely... something else. Low-volume, yeah, but more like a… humming? A faint, almost imperceptible vibration that seemed to come from the walls themselves. Checked online reviews – nothing. Guess I did experience a genuine Hong Kong ghost story. At least it wasn't a haunted music box, that would be truly terrifying. Thanks for the laugh, though. Maybe I'll just stick to hostels next time.
