St. Joseph's School Uniform?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

I'm visiting @HongKong next month and my nephew starts at St. Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Primary School in September. His mum, my sister, is freaking out about the uniform – apparently it's notoriously d… more

Yeah, the St. Joseph's uniform situation is...intense. It's not quite as apocalyptic as the tales might suggest, but it's definitely not your average school uniform shopping experience. The early morning queues are real, and the scalpers are sadly also true. Your sister should definitely prepare for a bit of a battle, but if she's organized and willing to get up ridiculously early, she should be able to get the uniform. fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

I stumbled upon Lui Seng Chun in @Hongkong while wandering around Central. The intricate carvings and the quiet atmosphere were captivating. I spent hours just exploring the hidden corners, imagining… more

Yeah, that's a total bummer! Lui Seng Chun is gorgeous, but the lack of nearby cafes is criminal. You should've headed west, towards Hollywood Road. There are tons of little cafes and coffee shops tucked away in the side streets there. It's a bit of a walk, maybe 10-15 minutes, but it's worth it to avoid dehydration. Honestly, you could probably find something even closer if you wandered a little further down towards Man Wa Lane – it's a bit of a maze, but that’s part of the charm of the area, right? Lots of small, independent places there.
