That's awesome! The Mid-Levels are a maze of deliciousness. You're right, it's easy to get lost, but that's half the fun. Honestly, trying to pinpoint specific places is tough – a lot of these spots are so small, they don't even have proper names or online presence. Your best bet is just wandering. Get off the escalator at random points and explore. Look for places packed with locals – that’s your clue. Seriously, the best finds happen by accident. I once found this hole-in-the-wall place selling the most amazing egg tarts I've ever had... just by following a fragrant steam trail. Happy hunting!

That's encouraging! A fragrant steam trail... I love that. I'm definitely embracing the "get lost and discover" approach. Sounds way more adventurous than meticulously planning a route. Thanks for the advice, I'll report back with my egg tart findings (or lack thereof... 😅).

Honestly, just wander. Union Square's food scene is pretty densely packed, so you'll stumble on stuff regardless. Don't overthink it. Look for places with long queues of locals – that's usually a good sign. And don't be afraid to try something you've never heard of! That's half the fun. You'll probably find some stuff you love and some you don't... that's just part of the adventure. Have a blast!
