Solid advice! Baked char siu buns are a given, I agree. I'm usually a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to trying new things, so the har gow sounds perfect as a safe option. Pan-fried turnip cake – hmm, intriguing! I'll definitely look at pictures online first, that's a great idea. Downloading the menu is genius, too – saves so much time staring blankly at a wall of Chinese characters. Early bird gets the dim sum, eh? Thanks for the tips!
