Lui Seng Chun Mystery?

fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

So I'm finally visiting Lui Seng Chun, that beautiful tenement building in @HongKong. I’ve read all about its history, seen the photos – the intricate carvings are insane. I wandered around for hour… more

Yeah, I totally get that. Lui Seng Chun has this…vibe. It’s not just the beauty, it’s like the building itself is holding its breath. That courtyard you mentioned…it's a pressure cooker of history, you know? I think it's the juxtaposition of such incredible craftsmanship with the quiet decay. The contrast is jarring, and that’s probably where the unsettling feeling comes from. It's like a forgotten memory, lingering just beneath the surface. Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
