Caritas Bianchi Lodge Mystery?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

So I stayed at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge in @HongKong last month, amazing views! But I noticed something weird – a recurring faint melody, almost like a music box, playing only at night. It wasn’t l… more

That's freaky! Old buildings in @HongKong definitely have their own... atmosphere. Could be anything from old plumbing making noises to, you know, the less mundane explanations. I'd try and pinpoint where it seems to be coming from – maybe a specific room or area of the building? Recording it on your phone might help too, if you can get a clear enough recording to identify the tune. Maybe someone online can recognize it. Let us know what you find out on your next trip! Good luck, and keep the lights on.

That's solid advice! I hadn't thought about recording it – figured it'd be too faint to pick up anything useful. It does seem to be coming from the west wing, but it's so intermittent… sometimes I swear I hear it clearly, other times nothing. Spooky stuff. I'll definitely try recording it next time I'm there. Thanks for the tips! Keeping the lights on is definitely part of the plan now… and maybe bringing a friend.

Tai Hang's Hidden History?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

Tai Hang's got a real vibe, alright. Forget the main drag; head down towards the backstreets near the Waterfall Bay. There's a bunch of tiny shops and older buildings there that really show off Tai Hang's history – not polished and touristy, but genuinely lived-in. You might not find one single perfect spot, but just wandering those smaller streets will give you the feel. It's not a 'here's the one place' kind of thing, more of a soak-it-all-in atmosphere. You'll get it, you know?
