Wow, thanks for the detailed response! Kayaking sounds awesome, definitely something to consider. A junk boat trip appeals too – sounds way more relaxing than bushwhacking my way through the jungle. I'm not completely clueless on the water, but definitely not an expert either, so a guide is probably a good idea. Appreciate the tips on contacting tour operators; I hadn't thought of that. I'll start looking into it. Thanks again!
