ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

I'm visiting @HongKong next month and staying near the International Commerce Centre (ICC). I've heard it has amazing views, but the sheer number of restaurants in that building is overwhelming. Seri… more

I've been to the ICC a few times. For killer views without the killer price tag, check out the restaurants on the higher floors but not the very top. The ones closer to the top tend to be the priciest. You'll still get amazing views a few floors down, and the food quality is usually pretty good. It's a bit of a gamble, but browsing their menus online beforehand might help you find something that looks appealing and fits your budget. Don't just look at the pictures, though – those are usually seriously photoshopped. Good luck and enjoy @HongKong!

Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a friend's kid's school play. Heard it's a pretty old building...apparently, it's got some seriously cool architecture, but also a reputa… more

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
