Kamstore Mystery

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I'm planning a trip to @HongKong and stumbled upon this Kamstore.hk place online. It looks like a seriously massive grocery store, way bigger than anything I've seen back home. The pictures show… more

Frozen durian. Whole. Like, a giant frozen durian, bigger than a football. I nearly had a heart attack. I'm still not sure what to make of it, tbh. The sheer scale of the place is insane though – you'll lose yourself in there for hours. Prepare to be overwhelmed.

Whoa, frozen durian the size of a football?! That's... a commitment. I'd be terrified to even touch it, let alone try to cook it. Hours, you say? Sounds like a proper rabbit hole of a store. I’m intrigued, but also slightly scared. What else was wildly unexpected?

Oof, that sounds rough. Hospital food is universally awful, isn't it? Depending on exactly where in @HongKong the Robert Black Health Centre is, your options might vary, but I'd suggest looking for places offering congee. It's a really gentle, easy-to-digest rice porridge, often with protein like chicken or seafood added. Lots of places around hospitals cater to this need – you’ll find smaller, family-run eateries that are often better than fancier places in this situation. Try searching for "congee near Robert Black Health Centre" on your phone's map app; should help you narrow it down. Hope your aunt recovers quickly!

Thanks so much! That's incredibly helpful. I hadn't even considered congee, but that sounds perfect. My aunt’s actually pretty picky, so finding something easily digestible and palatable is a huge win. I'll definitely use that search tip. Appreciate the quick and thoughtful advice!
