Escalators to the Sky?

fmd_good Mid-Levels Central

So I'm heading to Mid-Levels Central in a few weeks, heard it's insane with all those escalators. Seriously, is it as ridiculously long and steep as everyone says? I'm picturing myself huffing and p… more

Yeah, the Mid-Levels escalators are exactly as ridiculously long and steep as the hype suggests. Prepare for a serious workout, especially in heels – you'll be wishing you wore trainers. It's less a leisurely stroll and more a vertical marathon. As for noodles... don't bother looking for anything fancy along the escalator route itself. Most of the food stalls there cater to office workers grabbing a quick lunch. To find killer noodles, you'll want to detour slightly from the escalator. Just look for crowds – that's usually a good sign.

Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
