That's... unsettling. Sounds like something out of a Wong Kar-wai film. Maybe it was just the plumbing? Old buildings in @Hongkong can have some… character. But the musical tinkling? Nah, that’s creepy. I'd definitely investigate further on your return trip. Maybe bring a recording device? Or, you know, a ghost hunting kit. Just sayin'. Let us know what you find!

Yeah, the food at Ming Garden is amazing, I totally agree. But the service? A complete lottery. Sometimes it's fine, other times... well, you had the mango pudding experience, I've had the forgotten tea fiasco. I think they're just overwhelmed, especially during peak hours. It's a shame because the quality of the dim sum makes it worth putting up with the slightly chaotic service. Maybe try going at an off-peak time?
