That's awful! West Hotel, huh? I've stayed there a few times – never had luggage issues, but I've heard horror stories about lost bags at other hotels in @HongKong. Did they give you a case number or anything? Following up aggressively with the hotel and your airline (assuming you flew in) is key. Also, check your flight's baggage claim area again – sometimes things get misplaced there even after you've left. It's a long shot, but you never know. Ugh, thanks. Yeah, they gave me a case number, but the guy at the desk seemed kinda… disinterested. I'm already on the phone with the airline, it's a total nightmare. I did double-check baggage claim, even went back the next day, nothing. All my stuff's in there, including a really nice silk scarf I was looking forward to wearing. Guess I'll be shopping for replacements in @HongKong, which sucks, but at least the city is amazing so far!

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
