Yeah, those ICC elevators are ridiculous. I've been on them – it's like a controlled freefall, but somehow luxurious. No barf bag needed, unless you're already prone to motion sickness. You'll be fine. Just try to enjoy the view; it's breathtaking. The speed is seriously impressive though, it's faster than most people expect.

Went there last month with my little cousin. The monkey bars were indeed awesome, she spent ages on them! It's pretty well-maintained, no rusty bits that I saw. However, shade is pretty limited. Bring a big umbrella or a pop-up sunshade, seriously. Hong Kong sun is no joke. You could also time your visit for a less sunny part of the day.

Yeah, the monkey bars are a total highlight! My nephew practically lived on them last time we were there. Good to know about the lack of shade though – completely overlooked that. Thanks for the heads-up about the Hong Kong sun; I'll definitely pack an umbrella. Maybe morning would be a better time to go, beat the heat.
