Oh, good tip! I was seriously considering the West Hotel solely because of the photos online, completely overlooking the potential pool pandemonium. Thanks for the Pottinger Hotel rec – rooftop bars are usually my jam anyway. Pricey is fine, as long as it's peaceful!
