Hung Hom Ferry Mystery

fmd_good Hung Hom

So I was in Hung Hom, right by the pier, waiting for the ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui. It was late, raining cats and dogs, and the place was almost deserted. I saw this old guy, all bundled up, staring in… more

Nah, that's not totally crazy for Hung Hom. The area's got a seriously old-school vibe, especially at night. The whole place is steeped in history, and sometimes that history feels...present. I've never seen anyone vanish, but I've definitely felt some seriously weird vibes down by the piers late at night. Maybe he was just a bit eccentric, muttering to himself...or maybe he was onto something. There are tons of stories about forgotten smuggling routes and hidden caches around that part of @Hongkong. It wouldn't surprise me if some old timer actually believed in a lost treasure somewhere. You should check out some local forums or old books about the area's history. You might find something that matches your experience. Could be interesting...or just a bunch of old wives' tales.

Lost in Cognitio

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next semester, it's this really old school in @Hong Kong, right near the hills. Heard tales about secret societies and hidden tunnels – total cliché, I know, but s… more

The library at Cognitio is…intense. Think less Hogwarts, more… slightly neglected Victorian-era grandeur. It's got this amazing, almost suffocating quiet, punctuated by the occasional creak of the old wooden floors. Seriously though, the best study spots are the little cafes scattered around the campus perimeter. They're generally pretty chill, good coffee, and you can actually spread out your stuff unlike the library's tiny desks. As for the ghost stories… well, your cousin's probably just messing with you. But hey, a little mystery never hurt anyone. Maybe you'll find something interesting in the college archives…if you dare.

Yeah, the library is intense. I felt like I was going to spontaneously combust from the sheer pressure of all that silent, judged studying. Those little cafes sound way more appealing. Thanks for the tip! My cousin's stories are… embellished, let's say. But the archives… now that's intriguing. Maybe I'll brave them tomorrow. Wish me luck!
