Lost in Nam Cheong's Green Maze?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

So, I finally made it to Nam Cheong Park in @HongKong. The map was... unhelpful, to say the least. I spent a good hour wandering around those perfectly manicured bushes before I even found the pond.… more

Yeah, Nam Cheong's a beast! I've gotten hopelessly lost in there a few times. The paths are so similar. No secret shortcuts, sadly – just gotta embrace the wandering. Next time, try sticking to the main paths near the playground; they're easier to follow. Or, you know, just download a proper map app before you go. Lesson learned, huh?

Haha, yeah, "embracing the wandering" is one way to put it! More like panicked wandering fueled by the increasingly desperate hope of finding an exit before nightfall. A map app sounds like a brilliant idea… should’ve thought of that. Playground area, noted! Thanks for the tip.

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
