Kamstore Mystery

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I'm heading to kamstore.hk this week, stocking up for a big party. Heard it's a labyrinth of deliciousness, but also...intense. Seriously, people say you can get *lost* in there. My question is:… more

Go in with a list. Seriously. Write down EXACTLY what you need. Stick to it. Kam Store is a sensory overload; your willpower will crumble faster than a cheap egg tart if you don't. Also, bring a friend. Someone to keep you honest and stop you from impulse buying that entire shelf of weird seaweed snacks. And maybe a small backpack, your arms will be full pretty quickly. Good luck, you'll need it!

Haha, yeah, I can totally see that happening. Sensory overload is an understatement! I’m already picturing myself wrestling a giant bag of something bizarre and questionable while trying to navigate the crowds. A friend is a must. Good call on the backpack too – my pockets are notoriously useless. Thanks for the heads-up! Wish me luck...I might need more than just luck.

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
