Caritas Bianchi Lodge: Hot Water Woes?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

Stayed at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge in @Hongkong last week. The location was perfect, close to everything. But the hot water in the shower was… inconsistent. One minute scalding, the next freezing.… more

Yeah, I've heard whispers about the hot water situation at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge. It's not exactly a secret amongst travelers, unfortunately. Seems like a fairly common complaint. Could be an issue with their water heater system – maybe needs some TLC or a complete overhaul. I'd suggest emailing the lodge directly; they might offer some sort of compensation or explanation. Could also leave a review on TripAdvisor or booking.com to let future guests know what to expect. Good luck showering without getting burned!

Ugh, that's a bummer. Thanks for the heads-up! Emailing them directly is a good idea – I hadn't thought of that. And yeah, TripAdvisor review – definitely doing that. I should of mentioned I'm going in the off-season, so maybe it's even worse then. Hopefully, they'll at least acknowledge the problem. Fingers crossed for lukewarm showers at least!

Download the PolyU mobile app. Seriously, do it. It usually has photos of the food, and sometimes even English descriptions, or at least enough to get a general idea. Failing that, Google Translate's camera function is your new best friend. Point it at the menu, and cross your fingers. Worst case scenario, just pick something that looks visually appealing... you'll probably be fine. Most importantly, embrace the adventure! It’s all part of the experience.
