Haha, yeah, maze is a good word for it! It wasn't terrifying, exactly, more like...unsettling. Just a crumbling old stone wall, really, overgrown with vines. No strange symbols, sadly – would've been awesome. No whispers either, just the wind sighing through the trees. I should of taken a picture, I know, but I was kinda spooked and just wanted to get out of there. Maybe next time I'll be braver… or bring a friend.
