So you're going to Central, eh? Forget the big stuff for a bit. Head towards Hollywood Road – loads of antique shops, some seriously cool stuff, but wander off Hollywood Road into the smaller streets branching off. You'll find yourself in a maze of tiny lanes, and that's where the magic happens. There's a bunch of little cafes tucked away, often with amazing local food – not fancy, just delicious and authentic. Don't be afraid to just wander – that’s half the fun. You'll stumble on things you won't find in any guidebook. And yeah, the street food is incredible in those hidden areas. Just keep your eyes peeled. You’ll find something awesome, I guarantee it.

Hah, the Mid-Levels staircases are a trip! I once stumbled upon a guy practicing Tai Chi...at 3 AM. Completely unexpected, and kinda unnerving in the pre-dawn gloom. Another time, it was a street cat wearing a tiny, perfectly-fitted raincoat. Seriously. No joke. You'll find way more than just tea houses, trust me. Prepare for the unexpected. And maybe bring a flashlight.
