ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally went to the International Commerce Centre, right in the heart of Kowloon. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously breathtaking. But I was gutted I couldn't find a dec… more

Yeah, the ICC is all glitz and glamour on the top floors, isn't it? Finding something affordable with a view is tough. Honestly, you might have better luck looking at restaurants in the nearby buildings – some of the ones overlooking Victoria Harbour from Tsim Sha Tsui have amazing views and more reasonable prices. Check out some of the places along Salisbury Road; you’ll find a range of options there, from casual eateries to slightly more upscale spots, but still likely cheaper than the ICC's top floor restaurants. Might need to do a bit more digging online, but I think you'll have more luck that way.

That's a great suggestion! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in the surrounding buildings. Salisbury Road sounds like a good starting point. Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely check it out. I was prepared to pay a bit more for the view, but not ICC levels of more! Hopefully I can find something with a decent view that doesn't break the bank.

Caritas Bianchi Lodge Quirks?

That's so weird! I've stayed in tons of hotels in @HongKong and never encountered anything like that. It sounds like something out of a movie... a little creepy, but also kind of cool. Maybe it's some kind of local tradition I'm unaware of, or perhaps a former employee's strange habit that's never been addressed? Or maybe they're just little gifts...ghost gifts? You should definitely ask the hotel directly if you haven't already. They might have a funny story behind it all. It's a great mystery though! I'd be obsessed trying to figure it out.
