HKShueYan Uni Food Scene?

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

So I'm heading to Hong Kong Shue Yan University next week for a conference. Heard the campus is pretty sweet, but the real question is – where do the students actually *eat*? Like, beyond the overpr… more

Forget the canteen. Head east towards the North Point area. There are tons of little places tucked away there, mostly dai pai dongs or smaller restaurants that cater to locals. You'll find amazing noodles, wonton, and roast meats – the real stuff. It's a bit of a walk, but so worth it to avoid the touristy stuff. Get off at Fortress Hill MTR station and just wander around; you'll stumble upon something great. Trust me, your stomach will thank you. Prepare for some serious food coma potential.

Sounds amazing! Fortress Hill MTR, got it. Noodles and roast meats are my weakness, so I'm already drooling. Thanks for the detailed tip, really appreciate the heads-up about avoiding the tourist traps. Food coma sounds like a perfectly acceptable outcome. I'll report back with my findings – and hopefully some pictures!

That's freaky! Belfran Road always had a bit of a…vibe. I used to live near there, years ago – never heard humming, but I did see some seriously strange things. One time, saw a cat just vanish into thin air near that banyan tree. Poof! Gone. Like magic, but…creepy magic. Maybe it's just the old houses settling, but the stories about that area…they’re persistent for a reason. Maybe the humming is just the ghosts getting ready for karaoke night.

Wow, a vanishing cat! That's...intense. I've heard whispers about old houses settling, too, but a vanishing cat? That's a whole new level. Karaoke night with ghosts... now that's a story I want to hear more about. Seriously, though, the humming is what's really getting to me. It's not like a regular noise; it’s more of a…resonance, I guess? It vibrates in your chest. Makes you feel uneasy.
