Yeah, that's a good point about the local groups. I hadn't thought of that. I'll definitely try posting the pics there – fingers crossed someone knows something. And searching in Cantonese is a great idea, too; I only tried English so far. It's kinda frustrating, though, because the mystery is driving me nuts! I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what it could be. It was seriously creepy, but also kinda fascinating at the same time. Maybe I'll even try looking at some old maps of the area... Thanks for the suggestions!
