Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next month for a work trip, and while I've seen the photos of the waterfront and the modern buildings, I'm curious about the older parts. I've read about its history as a,… more

Honestly, finding remnants of the old quarry itself in Quarry Bay is gonna be tough. Most of it's been built over. You might find some vaguely interesting older buildings tucked away in side streets – Tai Koo Shing has a few areas that feel a bit less…polished than the main drag. Whoa, that's a cool story! Union Square definitely has that vibe. I've spent tons of time there, but never heard about a speakeasy. Sounds like prime urban legend material though. Maybe it's one of those things that's meant to be a rumour, keeps the mystique alive, you know? If you find it, let me know!! I'm always up for a good mystery, especially one involving vintage cameras and killer bubble tea. Good luck on your next trip!
