Cognitio's Secret Society?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College in a few weeks – heard it's got this crazy reputation for being super intense, but also... weirdly secretive? My cousin went there years ago and keeps dropping cry… more

Yeah, Cognitio's... intense. My friend's older brother swore there was a whole initiation thing involving a ridiculously obscure historical figure and a specific type of tea. Sounds completely made up, but he was adamant. He also claimed the library held a secret room, accessible only during a full moon – I mean, seriously? Probably just a bunch of overachievers trying to make college seem more interesting than it actually is. Don't get me wrong, it's probably tough, but a secret society? Doubt it. Unless your cousin's involved... then maybe there's something to it. Bring the notepad, though. Worst case scenario, you have some killer notes for your exams. Best case... you uncover some legendary college lore.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
