Oh my god, the elevators at the West! I stayed there two years ago and thought I was losing my mind. It wasn't just skipping floors; I swear one time it went sideways. Okay, maybe not sideways, but it felt like it. The wait times were insane, especially during peak hours. I started taking the stairs after the third near-heart attack. Seriously, it's like they installed those things on purpose to add to the 'Hong Kong experience'. Beautiful hotel, though. Worth the stair climbing, I guess?

My ah ma used to tell me the same stories! Giant koi, bigger than your head... I’ve lived near Nam Cheong Park my whole life and never found it. Honestly, I think it's one of those Hong Kong legends – like the ghost stories they tell about the old abandoned buildings. Great for keeping kids in line, though.
