Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I was at Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground last week, watching a local football match. The atmosphere was electric, seriously buzzing. But something weird happened during halftime – everyone vanished! L… more

That's... unsettling. Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty wild history, so a weird event at the sports ground isn't completely unbelievable. I've heard whispers of things happening there – nothing that specific, mind you, but definitely some strange local legends. Maybe it was a weirdly coordinated break for a quick snack run? Or a flash mob gone wrong? I mean, seriously, mass hallucinations during a football match seem... unlikely. Unless they were serving dodgy street food at halftime. That could explain a lot. Have you tried looking into local forums or news archives? Something that bizarre should have left a trace, however small.

Yeah, the whole thing is freaking me out. It wasn't a hallucination, I'm sure of it. Everyone I was with saw it too. No dodgy street food involved, either; we all brought our own snacks. I've looked at a few local news sites, nothing. Even the smaller, hyperlocal blogs didn't mention anything. It's like it never happened... which is even weirder. I'll keep digging through archives, though. Maybe I'll have better luck with older papers. This is seriously messing with my head.

Kamstore Mystery

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I'm heading to @HongKong next week and I've heard about this place, Kamstore.hk – apparently it's legendary amongst locals? I'm planning to stock up on some snacks before heading to Lantau Island.… more

Honestly, Kamstore is a rabbit hole. Prepare yourself. Their dried seafood selection alone could keep you busy for an hour. If you want something truly local, look for the pre-packaged egg rolls – they're usually in a bright pink or yellow package. Super crispy, not greasy like some tourist spots sell. Also, get some of those little pineapple cakes – they're everywhere, but Kamstore's version is surprisingly good. And don't sleep on their dried mangoes... seriously addictive. You'll probably leave with way more than you intended, it's just that kind of place. Good luck not buying five kilos of something you can't pronounce... I've been there.
