That's a really interesting take! I hadn't considered the irregular schedules and the way the lights play tricks on your eyes. Makes total sense, actually. It's kinda disappointing there's no actual mystery ferry, but I guess the legend itself is part of the charm. Definitely still going to check out the nighttime views – thanks for the tip! Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
