PARKnSHOP Mystery

fmd_good PARKnSHOP

So, I was in @HongKong, right? Needed some milk, naturally. Wandered into this PARKnSHOP – huge place! It felt like a maze though, seriously. Found the milk eventually, but I swear I saw a differe… more

Oh my god, YES! I thought I was losing my mind. ParknShop is a black hole of grocery stores. I once spent twenty minutes looking for soy sauce. TWENTY MINUTES. I'm pretty sure their layout is intentionally confusing. It's like a retail purgatory. Maybe they're training us for a real-life escape room... or prepping us for the apocalypse. Stock up on canned goods while your lost, I guess.

Seriously?! Twenty minutes for soy sauce? I thought I was bad! I spent ages trying to find the damn ginger last week. It felt like I walked through every aisle at least twice. I'm starting to think they actively re-arrange everything overnight just to mess with us. Retail purgatory is the perfect description. Maybe they should just hand out maps at the entrance. Or, you know, maybe actually label the aisles consistently. I swear, some of those signs are more cryptic than a Da Vinci Code puzzle.

Mid-Levels Mystery?

fmd_good Mid-Levels Central

I'm heading to Mid-Levels Central in @HongKong next month. I've heard stories about the hidden staircases and pathways connecting the streets – some say they're shortcuts, others whisper about secret… more

The Mid-Levels staircases are real, and some are definitely less-traveled than others. Forget "secret societies," though – that's mostly embellishment. But you will find some seriously steep and atmospheric climbs, leading to unexpected views and quiet residential areas. Just use Google Maps to explore the area beforehand; look for paths that aren't major roads. You'll stumble on some cool stuff, I guarantee it. Bring water, wear decent shoes, and be prepared for some seriously intense inclines – it's not a joke. Have fun, but be aware of your surroundings, especially at night. It’s not exactly dangerous, but it's certainly not Disneyland.
