Sounds creepy! Belfran Road isn't exactly known for its… exciting features, so that's definitely unusual. Could it be some kind of utility box? Maybe a forgotten piece of old telecom equipment? Or, and I'm reaching here, some kind of bizarre art installation? Try searching online for "mystery metal boxes @Hongkong" or something similar. If you find anything, let us know! Seriously though, a humming box bolted to a tree… that's a story.

Check out the little dai pai dongs tucked away on the side streets near the Star Hall. They're usually open late and way cheaper than anything in the main drag. You might have to wander a bit, but the food's often better and definitely more authentic. Look for places with lots of locals – that's usually a good sign. Avoid anything with flashing neon lights and English menus – those are usually aimed at tourists. You’ll find something tasty, I’m sure.
