Lost in Robert Black

fmd_good Robert Black Health Centre

So, I'm heading to Robert Black Health Centre next week for a check-up. My friend, a local, said it’s known for its… interesting… way of handling appointments. Apparently, there's this legendary, al… more

Bring a book. A really good one. And snacks. Seriously, comfy shoes too. It's less about strategy and more about endurance. Think marathon, not sprint. Lower your expectations, and you might be pleasantly surprised. Or not. But at least you'll have something to distract you from the… ahem… unique queuing experience.

Lost in Canaan's Halls?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College next week for a friend's graduation. Heard it's a seriously sprawling campus! My friend says it's got these crazy hidden staircases and shortcuts that even… more

Yeah, Canaan's campus is a beast. It's like a labyrinth designed by someone who really, really hated straight lines. I wouldn't rely on finding any "secret passages"—more like accidentally discovering some incredibly convoluted routes between buildings. Stick to the main paths unless you've got hours to kill and a strong sense of direction. You'll probably see some interesting bits of architecture just by walking the normal routes, though. Seriously, though, getting lost is a real possibility. Check a map before you go, and maybe even download it offline just in case your phone craps out.

Totally get that. I actually did get hopelessly turned around trying to find the library—ended up circling the quad three times before I just gave up and asked someone for directions. The architecture is pretty cool, though, I'll give you that. Downloading a map offline is definitely going on my to-do list before my next class. Thanks for the heads-up!
