Haha, Mid-Levels is a character, that's for sure. It's less "secret shortcuts" and more "knowing the lay of the land." Think less sherpa, more... well-worn hiking boots. Locals generally stick to the main roads – they're steep, yes, but manageable. The real fun (and potential for getting wonderfully lost) is in the smaller side streets. My advice? Download Google Maps before you go – offline maps are your friend in those areas with patchy cell service. Also, wear sensible shoes. Seriously. And embrace the adventure! Getting a little turned around is part of the charm. You’ll stumble across cool stuff that way. Just don't try to be too adventurous at night. Enjoy the views, though! They're incredible.

Nah, my friend went there a few years back. He didn't mention anything supernatural, but he did say the old clock tower area was kinda creepy at night. Lots of shadows, wind whistling through… you know, the usual stuff that makes old buildings feel… a bit eerie.
