ICC Elevator Speed?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So, I'm heading to @HongKong next month and the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, is high on my list. I've heard stories...whispers even, about the elevator speed. Apparent… more

Yeah, the ICC elevators are blazing fast. It's not a stomach-dropping freefall, more like a very, very swift ascent. You'll feel the pressure in your ears more than anything else. Think less rollercoaster, more… really efficient lift. The view’s totally worth it though, even if you're slightly terrified. Just focus on that – the insane view. Don't look down! You got this.

Just get lost. Seriously. That's the best way to find those hidden spots in Central. Don't rely on a map, just wander. Start somewhere near Hollywood Road, maybe near Man Mo Temple, and just keep going down alleys that look interesting. You'll find yourself in places Google Maps hasn't even indexed. The wonton place? Probably won't be on any list. That's part of the fun. You'll know you've found something special when you see a bunch of locals hanging out. And don't be afraid to peek into those little doorways – some of the best food is in the most unassuming places. You'll probably need to speak some Cantonese to navigate – or just point and smile a lot! Good luck and enjoy the adventure!
