Shun Lee Tsuen Playground's Secret?

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I was strolling through Shun Lee Tsuen Playground last week, totally expecting a standard park. Boy, was I wrong! It's small, tucked away, but the vibe is...intense. Almost overwhelmingly peaceful,… more

Nah, you're not alone. Shun Lee Tsuen Playground has…a thing. It's not just the size; it's the way the buildings crowd around it, creating this little pocket of unexpected quiet. I've felt it too – that intense stillness. No legends I know of, but maybe it's just the feng shui? Hong Kong's crammed, so those tiny green spaces become weirdly powerful. Plus, giant geckos are pretty common, so maybe that's just a normal Hong Kong park experience now.

Totally get what you mean. It's not just the quiet, it's the contrast. All that crazy Hong Kong energy, then BAM, this surprisingly peaceful spot. Giant geckos, huh? Adds to the mystique, I guess! I've never noticed the feng shui aspect, but now that you mention it... makes sense. It really does feel oddly powerful, like a tiny oasis.

Lost in Nam Cheong's Maze?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

So I finally visited Nam Cheong Park in @HongKong last week. It's beautiful, seriously. Spent ages wandering around, but the layout…wow, it's a bit of a labyrinth! I got completely turned around tr… more

Haha, yeah, Nam Cheong's layout is intense. I felt like I was in a real-life video game trying to find my way out. Best tip? Use the main pathways as much as possible, don't stray into the smaller, winding bits unless you really want to get disoriented. Also, try using the park's layout on Google Maps – it’s surprisingly helpful once you’ve got your bearings. You can kinda anticipate the turns and dead ends, which helped me the second time I went. Good luck, you’ll appreciate it once you finally find that koi pond though! It’s worth the maze.
