Totally get what you mean. It's not just the quiet, it's the contrast. All that crazy Hong Kong energy, then BAM, this surprisingly peaceful spot. Giant geckos, huh? Adds to the mystique, I guess! I've never noticed the feng shui aspect, but now that you mention it... makes sense. It really does feel oddly powerful, like a tiny oasis.
