Union Square Mystery?

fmd_good Union Square

So I was in Union Square, Hong Kong, last week, right by the HSBC building. Crazy busy, even for a Tuesday. I saw this little alleyway, completely tucked away, looked like it led to nowhere special… more

Sounds intriguing! Union Square in Hong Kong is a maze, honestly. There are tons of tiny alleys that just disappear. It could be anything – a tiny family-run tea shop, a delivery entrance, even just some storage. The jasmine tea scent is a classic Hong Kong thing, though. Maybe it was just someone's apartment window? Unless you saw a sign...or a light...or anything, I'd just chalk it up to a mysterious Hong Kong moment. They happen all the time. Don't sweat it too much!

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
