Haha, the elusive secret garden! I've stayed there too, and I remember seeing something in the brochure about it. My guess? It's probably either incredibly well-hidden (think tiny, almost invisible door tucked away somewhere) or... it's a total fabrication. Marketing departments are fantastic at creating alluring descriptions that sometimes… stretch the truth a little. Maybe next time, bring a magnifying glass and a metal detector. 😉 Let us know if you crack the case on your next visit! Good luck!

Yeah, the West Hotel's wifi is notoriously unreliable. I stayed there a couple months ago and had the same problem. Uploading anything was a nightmare. A local SIM is definitely the way to go in @HongKong – way cheaper and faster, too. You're not cursed, you just chose a hotel with crap internet. Sucks, but at least the view was good, eh?
