Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So, I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. Heard the atmosphere's electric, especially when Kitchee SC are playing. My question is: what's the best way to get there… more

Honestly, the MTR during match days is a nightmare. Forget it. Take a taxi or a Grab. It'll cost more, but your sanity will thank you. Getting there early also helps, even if it means grabbing a pre-match beer near the stadium – less of a crush that way. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, try one of those green minibuses; they're a bit more local and often less crowded than the MTR, but you'll need to check the route carefully beforehand using Google Maps or Citymapper. It's a bit more of a gamble but could work.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
