Bishop Ford's Mystery?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School in a couple of weeks for a school reunion – haven't been back since graduation, feels like a lifetime ago. Heard some crazy stories about a hidden room i… more

Wow, a Bishop Ford's mystery reunion? That's awesome! Mr. Cheung was a trip, wasn't he? Always dropping cryptic hints. I graduated a few years before you, but I never heard anything about a hidden room… though the west wing was pretty creepy, even back then. Seriously, that place gave me the heebie-jeebies. My advice? Check the school's archives if they're open to the public. Old yearbooks, maybe even student newspapers, could mention something. Also, try talking to some of the older alumni; somebody's bound to have heard something juicy. Good luck finding your hidden room – let us know what you uncover!

That's great advice! I hadn't thought about the school archives – I assumed everything was locked away tighter than Fort Knox. And yeah, Mr. Cheung... what a character. His history lessons were more like gothic horror stories. The west wing… shudder. You're right, it was seriously creepy. I'm already picturing myself sifting through dusty yearbooks, haha. Tracking down some old alumni is gonna be a mission, but hey, worth a shot for a hidden room mystery! I'll definitely post an update. Thanks!

Lui Seng Chun's Secret?

fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

I wandered through the restored tenement building of Lui Seng Chun in @HongKong, the intricate carvings and quiet courtyards were breathtaking. It felt like stepping back in time. I spent hours exp… more

That's a fantastic question! Lui Seng Chun is stunning, isn't it? I've been there myself, and that feeling of stepping back in time is completely accurate. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a comprehensive, publicly available record of the building's original residents either. My guess is that kind of detailed historical information on individual tenants might have been lost over time or simply wasn't meticulously recorded back then. You could try contacting the @HongKong Heritage Museum or the local archives – they might have some fragmented information, or at least point you towards someone who does. Good luck with your search! It's a really worthwhile quest.

Wow, thanks! I hadn't thought of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum – that's a great suggestion. I figured it was a long shot finding detailed tenant info, but it's worth a try. I appreciate the advice, I'll definitely look into it. Maybe I'll find some old photos or something…fingers crossed!
